OMG, can we talk about how Seoul is literally taking over the world right now?! 🌟 As a Seoul native who’s lived here for over 20 years, I’ve seen this city change a lot, but seeing my favorite childhood spots on Netflix hits like “Made in Korea” (the Indian sensation) and “XO, Kitty” Season 3 is a whole different level of cool.
My husband and I—yep, newlywed life is still so dreamy!—actually spent our last weekend retracing some of these scenes. There’s something so romantic about visiting places that are now global icons. If you’re planning your trip, you have to check out these Seoul filming locations 2026 edition!
1. “Made in Korea” (Again, in Seoul): An Indian Twist on K-Vibes
If you haven’t seen “Made in Korea” (originally titled Again, in Seoul), you are missing out on the most colorful version of my city! It hit #1 globally on Netflix for a reason. It follows Shenba (played by the gorgeous Priyanka Arul Mohan) as she navigates life in Korea.
The Iconic Han River Group Dance
In a classic Bollywood-meets-K-Pop moment, a massive group dance happens right at Banpo Hangang Park.
- Insider Tip: If you visit during the evening (usually April–October), you can catch the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain on the Banpo Bridge. It’s the perfect backdrop for your own TikTok dance!
- Location: 40 Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
- Cost: Free!
Cheonggyecheon Stream & Somac Vibes
The film captures Shenba hanging out by the Cheonggyecheon Stream. This is where my husband and I used to go on “secret” dates before we got married! It’s 11km long, but the area near Gwanghwamun is where most of the filming happens. The movie also showcases the “Somac” (Soju + Beer) culture and Jjimjilbangs (Korean saunas).
- Local Secret: For the best Jjimjilbang experience featured in the vibe of the film, head to Dragon Hill Spa or Silosoam, though many locals now prefer smaller, boutique ones in Hannam-dong.

2. “XO, Kitty” Season 3: High School Drama at Lotte World
Kitty Song Covey is back, and Season 3 is basically a love letter to Seoul (and maybe Min-ho?). While most of the school scenes are at the fictional KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul), the real-world locations are totally reachable.
The Lotte World “School Uniform” Date
One of the best episodes this season features Kitty and her crew at Lotte World Adventure. They even do the “Lotte World Tradition” of wearing school uniforms!
- How to do it: Go to Ehwa Gyobok (Ehwa School Uniform) near Jamsil Station to rent a cute uniform before entering the park.
- Must-Ride: The “French Revolution” and the “Spanish Pirate Ship” featured in the show are local favorites.
- Price: An adult day pass is roughly 62,000 KRW ($45), but you can usually find discounts on apps like Klook or Trazy.
Eungbongsan Palgakjeong: The View of Dreams
Remember that stunning view of the Han River Kitty gazes at? That’s Eungbongsan Mountain. It’s a short hike (more like a brisk walk) up to the Palgakjeong (eight-sided pavilion).
- Why go: It’s famous for its night view. My husband took me here when we were dating to see the city lights—it’s incredibly romantic!

3. Beyond Seoul: The Busan Connection
This season, “XO, Kitty” took a field trip to Busan, and the cinematography was chef’s kiss.
Romance Under the Gwangan Bridge
The moment we all waited for—Kitty and Min-ho’s first kiss—happened under the glittering lights of the Gwangan Bridge (Diamond Bridge).
- Local Tip: Grab a “Ssiat Hotteok” (seed-filled pancake) from the Haeundae Market like the cast did, then take a taxi to Gwangalli Beach at night. The bridge lights up in different colors and is the peak of “K-Drama romance.”
Gamcheon Culture Village
The colorful, Lego-like houses of Gamcheon also made a cameo. It’s a steep climb, so wear comfortable shoes!
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (March–October).
- Pro Tip: Find the “Little Prince” statue for the exact photo op used in the show.

4. Coming Soon: CNN’s “K-Everything”
The world’s obsession isn’t slowing down. CNN is launching a 4-part series called “K-Everything” next month! They’ve been spotted filming in:
- Gwanghwamun Plaza: Where BTS recently did their legendary “Arirang” performance.
- Euljiro: Also known as “Hip-jiro” to us locals. It’s where old hardware stores turn into secret wine bars at night.
- Bukchon Hanok Village: A classic, but please remember to be quiet as people actually live there!
Final Thoughts from a Seoulite
It’s so surreal seeing my home through the lens of international directors. Whether it’s the Indian group dances at the Han River or a teen romance in Busan, these Seoul filming locations 2026 show that Korea is more than just a backdrop—it’s a character of its own.
